'Working for those who protect our environment'

Formed on the 1st January 2007, The English Ranger Association (ERA) is the voice of the Rangers, Wardens and Volunteers who dedicate themselves to the protection of the English Natural Environment.

The ERA seeks to;
Raise the profile of Rangers, Wardens and Volunteers working in England and inform the public of the importance of the role that Rangers undertake in protecting the Environment.

The ERA also encourages the development of best practice through the publication of a newsletter, website, study visits and training events.

The ERA will apply to become a member of the International Federation of Rangers and will network with a range of European and Worldwide Ranger and Environmental organisations.

The ERA has a rapidly growing membership of Rangers and Volunteers and we welcome people from all walks of life.

Even If you not a Ranger but you have an interest in the environment and want to support the people who look after it, then the ERA is for you.

As The ERA is run by volunteers our costs are very low, so we can offer free membership. However we are more than happy to accept donations as this will of course aid our work.

Feel free to browse through our website and if you have any further questions please contact us using the ranger@englishranger.co.uk email address.

We look forward to receiving  your membership application
